No problem. I agree with you that a prediction without a reason is worthless. I always try to present reasons, but of course I am not infallable. There are a number of people on this board (and on the Street) who agree with my prognostication. What I find interesting is that they are using many different approaches to come to the same conclusion. For many reasons, depending on whose approach you like the best, early April is a turning point for the lower in many people's books. I am of the opinion that the fundamental worries are overblown and the techs will bounce back with a vengence. But that does not mean that I'd like to hold on to them while they drop like a rock, because (a) I don't like to see my stocks go down even for short periods of time. And (b) I may be wrong and they may not bounce back as fast as I think. There is of course option (c) which says since so many people think the market will go down, it will not do so. In that case I have foregone some profits (and not much at that if I sell covered calls), but slept better at night.

regards,
ST

I just want to throw in my $0.02 and say that Sun Tzu is probably one of the reasons why people stick around SI. :) He makes some very sensible predictions and his intuition and reasoning turns out right much more often than not.

Except for the times when he bangs his head against the wall, chastising himself for not following some indication he should have, I'd say that he can pull more points out of the market - bull or bear - in a week than most of us can in a year - daytrading, long-term, or otherwise. His investment ideas are sound.

Before I continue, I think I've got something brown on my nose .. :) Seriously though, he's been a pretty invaluable contributor to this thread, seems to be on top of all the right points, needling TDFX with every detail. At the very least, his reasoning convinced me to sell some of this dog's shares and put it into a more lucrative investment - GNET. I have gone from 40% down to 60% up in two weeks (thanks mostly to the internut craze) and the only way I could be happier is if I had done that with ALL my shares. :) We'd all do well to listen to him once in a while.

Anyway, just want to give thanks is all - ST keep those insights coming.
