How about A "Strong Buy" rating from Nationsbanc Montgomery's influential internet analyst Alan Braverman. One point I have not seen mentioned which seems to have been overlooked is that Nationsbanc Montgomery banked Vulcan Ventures in the recent GNET transaction. As I am sure Nationsbanc does not want to lose Vulcan's business, I would venture to guess that once Vulcan's twenty day tender period has expired Braverman will come out with the aforementioned rating. Typically, when a securities firm advises on such a deal, their analysts tend to support their client with a favorable rating. I can only assume that GNET will have a rather good day if and when this rating is applied. Any thoughts?

You're right. This continued expansion by Allen in the cable arena makes GNET ever more central to his strategy and ever more deserving of additional investment.
