it doesn't matter, what matters right now is increasing the subscriber base to millions and then watch it being bought out buy one of the big boys, the same situation occurred with HOT MAIL, given away for free
and Microsoft gobbled it up, for a big premium, I suspect this is the game plan for EFAX.

i like the free aspect of efax - free on the web wins users

i think efax's goal is to be acquired, not to grow into
a huge faxing to email service

if not, then it must cut deals with sites to provide the service to their users

how does it make money? right now it's not clear from the company but i think efax
could be ad based, targeted marketing based

just include an ad on the fax somewhere
