Michael,

I think there is a lot of significance to what is happening in Korea and HK right now. The fight for subsribers in Korea are all CDMA. There has been hardly any news from HK since the different carriers launched their price war a couple of months ago.

The final battle ground will be the US. All the talk about who is better and most important, who is cheaper, is going to move into the proof it phase. I suspect Nextel will be the first victim, reduced to just a niche player with their direct connect feature struggling on until they go the way of the pager. If CDMA is indeed better, the competition is going to have a tough time with a price war.

Any one wants to venture a guess as to how far away are we from that point?
