Jack,

The TSE 300 and the DJIA will continue their slide for another few days. This came as fears about growth at market-leading technology companies snowballed into broader concerns about corporate profits. In other words, Earning Warnings!

Such a slide would generally have an impact on blue chips. However, the penny stocks (anything trading under $5) usually benefit from the latter since the smart money goes from buying some blue chips to buying penny stocks, knowing very well that an impact would much less be felt on said stocks.

It might however encourage some retail investors wanting to invest to wait it out, which would result in a decrease of the retail buying.

Looking at both trading logs, I am under the impression that the house that did the buying that day was buying on behalf of an 'informed' individual or group. It was not retail buying.

I edited the buyers and the sellers on the Canadian exchange so you could see what I mean.

My impression is that the same buyer was buying on both exchanges. Look at the intervals between the buys. Look at the time the buys started and finished. I see a pattern. Well, I might be way off on this Jack, but the latter represents my opinion in this regard.

I think your statement is also true. Some of the people were expecting a PR and were buying hoping to time the release and benefit from the increase in price.

I expect the price to stabilize around the 2.00 - 2.10 area until news comes out next week.

Hope this answers your question Jack

Kind Regards
AK
