y'know Prof. Scott, I agree on that interview. It was revealing. Cowpland came across far more clearly than he usually does (minus most of the usual multiple layers of hype.)

As we all know by now, Cowpland is not exactly well suited to directing day to day operations. "Focus on the Suite" will never fit him. WordPerfect plus Draw is never going to be enough (even if one throws in Ventura for good measure) to grow this company the way we would like to see. The Linux initatives seem relatively harmless so long as they don't consume excessive resources, and somehow I think that is being "managed" now. We'll need to be watching the research numbers. The risk/reqard prospects in this area are far better than they ever were with JAVA or Network Computers.

Agreed too with what you wanted to say. The tone of the interview was as interesting as the content.
