Wittder,

There's several types of targeting techniques I use depending on the situation. The rectangle method is used on a rectangle (or channel as a rectangle is commonly referred to). There's methods for IHS breakouts. There's the Andrew's pitchfork method. The base on base method. The symmetrical triangle method. And one that I use that also finds moving targets to peg the day the target is reached and at what value. which is sometimes dependent on the individual technical strength of the stock in question. Pring's book covers the common ones.

Keep up the reading,
Doug R
