Has anyone considered that this person was lying about doing 2,000 trades in one day? Commission and fees alone would have wiped out many accounts. How could anyone justify trading one single stock 2,000 times in a day? And, unless they made a tremendous profit doing so, who would admit to doing such a thing?

Actually, the claim was that he made over 2000 trades that DAY. Logistically, it does seem a little improbable, but who knows?

Anyone with a credit card and $0.95 can listen to the program. I believe it was the March 10 "Marketplace" on PRI. It was one of a week-long series on daytrading. The subject on this day was "your likelihood of being successful at daytrading"

You have to install the "Audible" plug-in.

This is the link to the Marketplace segments on the Audible site. It didn't paste like normal links -- don't know why -- but if you copy and paste the whole thing into your address bar it will take you there. Otherwise, just go to the Marketplace web-site:
marketplace.org
and it has links to the Audible site
