If anyone needs an excuse to cash out of this market just re-read the last few days thread.
" I jumped on board today under $140. I have been waiting for a pull back to jump in and all
of this overinflated bad news about earnings was the medicine that the doctor asked for. Looking at the charts I see a slight possibility of a drop to $125 but it is highly unlikely."

Waiting for a pullback? At 140? Wow, you waited a whole day or two. The stock never even got to 140 until when? That is the kind of patient investing that'll break a lot of you so-called LONGS.
Under 140 is a gift? 125 unlikely? Based on what?

And how about "I need to quit thinking downside risk". Yeah there is a good move. Don't let those bean counters confuse you with all that talk of profitability and valuations.

And then there is the ever popular "YEEEEHAW" when the stock goes up $10 on the day. The average day trading range on this stock was around $10 in January/February folks.

All this false bravado. I can't wait to read the panic-dripping posts as ATHM falls below $100 once again. 90% of you LONGS will sell. We have already had a few brave souls admit to panic selling during some downturns last month. When the real correction hits (earnings warnings, inflation, interest rate hike) all of you cheerleaders will panic and jump ship.

Why else do you even follow this thread so closely, and react with such emotion to the posts. You cheer when people predict 100% rises in weeks, and boo when someone suggests this stock is due for a major correction based on hard numbers. You praise gut feelings, and malign historical precedents. And the dirty little secret behind all of this is that you are scared to death that something catastrophic is going to happen to burst this 'can't miss' bubble. You're scared, and that's why your going to sell when the panic hits the streets. The ground will be coming up pretty quickly, and you're going to pull that chute because for all your 'sure thing' posts you know that $0 is always a possibility. And because history shows that you will.

And ahahaha is going to be there with a barrel full of cash to buy up shares of Lucent,Sun,AT&T,IBM,MicroSoft,AOL,TimeWarner and maybe even some more ATHM. ;>
