I bought April 55/50 put spreads a couple weeks ago. I would have felt better if I'd done it last Friday instead. As it stands it may be too close for comfort.

MDA-Market Direction Analysis....! What a stupid name for this thread. It should more rightly be named "Predjudiced Direction Analysis"-bears only need post. Every post I have read is negative and most of the posters on here are resident SI bears. What an interesting thread when there are absolutely no opposing opinions. For something even more challenging, maybe later all of you can go over to a local kindergarten and have a spelling bee pitting the posters on this thread against the classroom.

The bottom line is, the market will rally very soon and blow out the 10,000 mark. Then all of the bears can start predicting how over valued everything is again. This down turn is typical for the time of year and in view of the recent run-up. It is VERY temporary and will be meaningless 6 months from now. This is a buying opportunity not Armageddon. Sorry to dampen your party.
