They are only bargains if you can find a buyer at a higher price. This 'bear' market in small caps can go on indefinately. Look at the Japanese market. Ten years ago it looked like a bargain when it lost 50% of it's value. Those that bought back then are still waiting for a profit. And those that never cut their loses and reinvested have lost 10 years of potential earnings. Can you afford 10 years (or 5 or 2) of dead money?

Good point Doug, but I for one do not expect a rising tide of small cap companies to lift AFLX out of it's current doldrums. It will take positive results from AFLX operations to do that. IMHO. Here's hoping they do in the next few quarters.
