Sorry, I forgot to say that it is $50/month for the service which includes the modem.

When you call Time Warner to get hooked up, they charge about $100 for installation which includes bringing in the cable, installing the network card on your PC and installing the RoadRunner software.

The network card is internal. If you're satisfied with an ISA network card, it is included in the $100. If you want a PCI card they add about $50. The modem is external (I set it on top of my PC). The cable connects to the modem and then the modem connects to your network card.

Connecting to the net takes about 1-2 seconds. You click on the icon and you're on (and giving that crazy coyote fits).
