Below is a section of a chat with Michael Murphy concerning the internet stocks. This just proves the analysts are still looking for that business model that makes money. PatT.com Michael Murphy at 7:05pm ET Most of the portal companies are struggling to find a combination of services that will attract people and advertisers. In general, people are trying to copy what AOL did because it worked, they got profitable. I don't think there's a model out there yet to guarantee that any of the portal companies will be profitable. Consequently, until we see a stable business market that generates consistent profit, I'm going to be dubious. Things that work in the short term may not work in the long term, so I'm doubtful.
