Q-911:

You've piqued my curiosity...would you mind revealing which particular Yahoo poster you believe is Shane? Are you referring to the LSI board on Yahoo?

Regards,
Wolf
(willing to lower the price on the modest block of LSI in my retirement account to $99 apiece...this is a limited time offer!<gg>)

I was sad to learn guru was driven off this board, though glad to absorb his exhilarating masterpieces on the other.

Since when was Shane driven off of this or any other board? If you go to Shane's SI profile, you will notice that he hasn't posted on a number of boards for over six months.

Q-- Concur...LSI could go a long way from here. But I suspect we will have to put up with a lot of backing and filling, and maybe a few negatives along the way. The big run is likely a couple of years away. It is interesting to compare the Value Line estimates for LSI now ($3/share, 3-5 years out) against their FAR more optimistic estimates three years back. IF everything were to go LSI's way, Value Line could be off again, imho, with actual earnings about double their projections.. and a stock price near 200 in their 3-5 year time frame... The driver would have to be a MUCH better supply/demand balance than we have had -- which would mean a "little" restraint on the building of new fabs as soon as the least improvement is in sight-- or possibly perceived, "just over the horizon".
And, I suspect we will get a pretty good assessment of that, by Shane, as the stock price finally moves up. Meanwhile, enjoy the ride!
