I think an eventual return to the mid 40s will occur
sometime late this spring but until then we most
likely will tread water in the 30s. See ya at 32
SOON!!

Regarding your "32 SOON" prediction: I hope you're right, my friend!
I will have another $7500 to invest in about 6 days, and it's ALL going to Dell regardless of the price, so hold that "Dell at 32" thought! I would love to get Dell at that price to add to the 1000 shares I already own. Dell at 32 makes my mouth water just thinking about it! :-)

Regarding your estimate of mid 40s by late Spring:

Just hold on for earnings. When Dell meets or exceeds estimates, it will rise like the Phoenix while the real instigators of this current mess CPQ, IBM, and GTW sharply correct.

So please do keep shorting Dell, and ask all of your buddies to do the same, so I can get it at 32! You will be my new best friend.

Ciao,
John

zalesky...re: "not the same dell"

nothing remains the same...how many bought ibm years ago when it sold off into the forties...the end of big blue claimed the pundits...slow growth...

or merck during the hillary health plan debacle...under thirty five,

companies, to quote andrew grove, have "strategic inflections"...which test their very fiber and management...the good always survive and reach new highs...

are you old enough to remember the government bailout of chrysler when iaccocca was ceo...could of bought the stock in low single digits...

so look at ibm growth...and how the market rewards..FUNDAMENTALS...of course this is when the mania ends and tranquility returns...

too many short term apocalypses...good luck ed a.
