Yugoslavia-Kosovo-Neighbours << Miculescu said a note had been handed to ambassadors from all neighbours, which include Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Macedonia ''on the possible political and military consequences of NATO aggression against Yugoslavia.'' A government source in Belgrade confirmed that ambassadors from adjacent countries had been summoned overnight. Officials in Hungary, the only NATO member among the five, also said the meeting had taken place. Romanian President Emil Constantinescu has said that a NATO strike against Yugoslavia would be legitimate if it refused to sign a peace settlement on Kosovo. Bulgarian President Petar Stoyanov also backed NATO action while saying it was unwelcome. Miculescu said Romania still hoped that authorities in Belgrade ''will undergo a last-minute change of position to avoid NATO strikes.'' >> abcnews.go.com ******* Turkish PM says Kosovo war could affect Balkans << Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said on Wednesday that a Kosovo conflict could affect the entire Balkan region if Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic did not accept a peace deal for the volatile Serbian province. ''If Serbia does not take a step back the crisis could develop into a war that will affect all the Balkan states,** ''Anatolian news agency quoted Ecevit as saying.
