- I downloaded IE off the AltaVista site

- Good part was that the process, including my new NetMeeting phone, went flawlessly

- Problem is that I now have the stupid "AV" logo everywhere

Just Downloaded IE 5.0------almost feels like I have cable modem.
Maybe not.--It is fast however.

IE 5.0 does seem faster here at home but it still seems slow because I'm used to my high-speed access at work. I'm not allowed to install IE 5.0 at work because the IT people are afraid.

BTW, these are the same IT people the Linux folk think will leap at the chance to leave Windows.
