Donkeyman,
Remember AGAIN when comparing revenues between EBAY and BID.COM. They are different.
EBAY's revenues are only the fees charged on the products that are sold on their site by subscribers, NOT on the products themselves.
BID.COM's revenues are the sales prices of the items.
Therefore, EBAY's revenues are (for the most part) already gross margin vs. BID.COM having to take out the cost of those goods to determine gross margin.
$47 million to EBAY is $47 million margin.
$47 million to BID.COM may be only $3 million margin.

I like both EBAY and BID.COM, but your constant posts on the subject are making me a little whacky.
