From The Red Herring:

"CATCH OF THE DAY: Think globally, shop locally

Will the Web turn the entire planet into one huge mega-mall,
where any product is available to anybody, anywhere?
Amazon.com and eToys might want it that way, but there are
compelling values inherent in local businesses.

Some products, for example, don't travel well. And while I
remain critical of most Web-based businesses that rely on
local distribution infrastructures, some nationally run
businesses use local distribution of products to great
advantage -- flower delivery, for one.

Also, people have both a tribal instinct and the good sense
to keep their money in their communities: spending locally
pays quality-of-life dividends. The American Booksellers
Association, representing independent bookshops, has plans
to provide an infrastructure to support local storefronts
with e-commerce tools. Take *that*, Amazon.

Finally, some businesses face legal limits to geographic
centralization. Our story "No crime to buy wine online"
profiles a business that helps people give gifts of wine."

>>Maybe this time its different.<<
For Amzn to fall into the low 90's would require some elephants to leave. Us retailers can't hold it up if that happens.
Yes, your right. This stock could run back up to 140 in a week.
That's why I won't bet against it yet.
Ps
Abbey J Cohen says "Stocks are alright". She predicting a Dow of 10,300 by the end of the year. That's not a hell of a lot with still over 9 months to go.
