I just clicked on that link for Hyperion's website and they claim that they have audited results of kicking Oracle's butt (my word:)...Is this true? Take a look below and then go to their site...This is unbelievable! Hyperion Essbase Obliterates All Benchmark Records Hyperion Essbase is the fastest, most scalable and most deployable OLAP server. On a Sun Enterprise 450 server with the Sun Solaris Unix operating environment, Hyperion Essbase OLAP Server 5 completed the APB-1 OLAP benchmark two times faster than Oracle Express OLAP Server. Hyperion Essbase also completed the entire APB-1 OLAP benchmark six times faster than Oracle Express on identical Windows NT servers. These results confirm that Hyperion Essbase is the fastest, most scalable and most deployable OLAP server on all platforms.
