Greg quoted Bloomberg:

Dell Computer Corp. said it expects shipments of its products in Asia-Pacific excluding Japan, to rise 70 percent in 1999, led by growth in China and Australia.

That would beat the industry's expected increase of 2.7 percent

Ref:Dell expects 99 PC shipments to rise 70% in Asia--->

Greg:
This is great,so we are looking at close to a billion and half from Asia for fiscal 99 from the current $850 billion or so,not too bad.

In China Dell's current run rate is about $100 million on an annualized basis this should be close to $200 million for fiscal 99 if one were to go by the recent report from Mr.Goh and John Legere (Presiden,Dell corp Asia Pacific).
