You've been around long enough that you should know how the press can spin things. Try to imagine the following blurb on TheStreet.com the day after Iomega reports earnings:

"Iomega is being hammered yet again for reporting disappointing earnings. Although 0.02 was at the top of the preannounced range and doubled analyst expectations, they fell far short of Q4's 0.07 and the all-important whisper numbers. When will this stock ever recover?"
