FWIW, I am still holding ESPI. I really liked yesterdays news; "You've got pictures" coming with AOL later. Also, the Qwest buyout rumor doesn't hurt.

ESPI here as well - bought @10 5/8 when it was triggered a buy -
it has been going down since. Jenna, I thought you said you were
in it - why, when did you sell? What is your take on it now? I guess you didn't like it anymore if you sold. Wish I would have known if you thought it triggered a 'sell' signal.

BTW I liked the news today and yesterday but it unfortunately didn't help the stock price though.

Rose--I understand your frustration.I am a new sunscriber, but lurked for quite a while. Here is how I play alerts--they are usally for short term plays--5-10% move--If I get it, I take it. At the same time, I set a stop loss based on the chart and my tolerance for risk. If I am stopped out, so be it. This happened on ESPI for me. But when we hear that something is an intermediate hold, then you must check the chart, set a target (10-25%) and set a stop, but you won't hear much more about it on the thread. Between the watch lists, the earnings plays and other stocks highlighted on this thread, there are a lot of choices. Everyone claps at the goods ones, but not everyone actually picks those. Gotta watch the charts and watch the alerts. At least that's how I am doing it. Hope this helps. JIM

Rose: What Jenna provides is a list of stocks that could be good in the near future for a variety of reasons. She doesn't tell anyone what to buy. What she does is the hard, boring, time-consuming work of scanning and filtering out strong candidates for buys.

I am only paper trading right now, having lost a small fortune being a sheep on these boards and buying too much on margin and making all the big mistakes. I used to laugh at paper trading, thinking it was for whimps. But I am learning SO MUCH.

So far, the best thing I think I have learned is that you must wait, wait, wait. Wait for the very best stock. I subscribe to MG and look at the picks and wait for the strong one to become obvious to me. Of course, I am not right every time, but when I wait like that I am right more than I am wrong -- and that's all that really counts!

So I would say: Use Jenna for what she provides, which is IMO a premier stock screening service, along with tons and tons of tutoring -- not to mention amazing kindness and generosity. So let Jenna be your screener, but you must be the picker. And I highly recommend paper trading as a no-risk way of developing your picker. Well, I've gone on too long here. Happy trails.
