Wayne, ECEC...seems a bit undiscovered - let me know what you think. Site coming w/in 3 weeks

Here's a news release, be sure to read the middle of it that explains how they differ from other online auction sites. They seem to be very above board when it comes to honoring people's bids - even if it means the co. takes a hit. This kind of PR speaks volumes about a company and it's practices. Site coming online in mid-April or before..already up 10% today

March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- eCom eCom.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ECEC) announced today that it has selected Verisign Encryption Technology to ensure the integrity of credit card use on its Internet auction site, the ECEC Trading Club. Company officials believe that use of Verisign, combined with a planned escrow service, will create a secure environment for buyers and sellers to conduct their trading activities.

ECEC's membership concept provides additional protection against dishonest practices. CEO David J. Panaia commented, "We want Trading Club members to feel that they are part of a secure and ethical on-line community. But, like any community, some police action will be needed. We reserve the right to revoke the membership of anyone based on verifiable complaints of unethical trading activity."

Panaia said that the Company's long-term success depends on its ability to gain the confidence of its customers. This commitment to integrity recently was illustrated by an incident that proved to be a windfall for a visitor to ECEC's auction website. The auction portion of the website currently is being expanded and tested. During one test, certain items were offered for bid with intended minimum bid requirements. The minimum bid for one item was accidentally omitted. Before the omission was discovered, a single bid of $1 was made on a Hank Aaron signature trading card with an intended minimum bid of $500. ECEC has honored the lucky bidder's offer.

The "grand opening" of ECEC's auction is planned for mid-April. Although the site is being redesigned and expanded, the registration module is in operation. Sellers who would like to be a part of a special grand opening are encouraged to register now by visiting ECEC's site at www.ecomecom.com. ECEC has extended its free enrollment period to six months. There is never a charge for buyers.
