Hello.....Gold buys, a couple of business days before full moon....I'm not set up to short gold, so I haven't been selling short. Can't answer that part....After a gold buy I play it by ear...I'll be able to trade both sides soon....I've missed out on several good sell signals...If the broad market tanks now, I'll be set...This is a BIG trade for me.....scotty

Cope, I wanted to point out that normally you buy the SPX on the new moon and sell on the full-moon....as per the backtesting in the Oct 1997 issue of TAS&C.....this month on the new moon their were other larger cyclical factors that indicated a sell, might be in order....

Just my 2 cents......Les Horowitz and I had this discussion on the MDA thread back in Jan. and after he reviewed his material he agreed, that it is sell the full moon and buy the new moon that yields the best results over the course of 1 or more years.
