Larry: I hope to see 55 today. Otherwise will still sit on the sidelines and make snide. Well, maybe 54+ would be tempting.

Lots of volume and big blocks in the first couple of minutes of that move up from 50 1/2. If you got your half-point from 51 11/16, my hat's off to you!

I'm not confident enough to attempt a short from 52. "Niles has been tipped" is too recent in my mind, and Clinton's speech on CNBC (just ended) seems to have had some code words giving Them the ok to start buying everything in sight.

But if I see a market-wide drop beginning at the increasingly popular 1:30 timeframe that takes MU with it, I'll gamble long on a miraculous market-wide recovery at the usual times (2:00, 2:40, 3:00) (almost seems inevitable, given the reaction to Clinton, that They will make sure we have a nice gain today) and a last-minute squeeze for MU in particular.

A run past 54 today and I dump any longs and put on that 55-50 put spread.
