Wrong again, Toby. A mutual fund can declare a dividend relating to the prior year up to the earliest of its regularly scheduled next dividend or when it files its (1998) tax return. Internal Revenue Code Section 855(a). It is treated as received in the year of payment by the shareholders (1999). Section 855(b).

10,000 shares bid at 3-11/16. Maybe we can move up past $4 soon. Wish they'd just liquidate -- that would give us some quick shareholder value.
