New Discoveries Doubles Agreement with Internet Giants

SYDNEY, Australia, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- New Discoveries Publishing
Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: NWDP), an Internet e-commerce software company has
doubled its promotion agreement today with Internet search engine Lycos
(Nasdaq: LCOS), following a record number of hits to its interactive gaming
site.
The agreement between New Discoveries and Lycos, linking users directly
from their search engines to the company's stock information and e-commerce
software site, has been extended to accommodate the increase in Internet
traffic.
The combined total number of hits to the New Discoveries' site through
Lycos and other search engines will now be 15.8 million, double the proposed
7.9 million announced earlier this week.
According to Lycos, the second most visited Internet hub and the world's
largest online community reaching 48.8% of the Internet audience, the
agreement signals a trend in advertising online.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Peter Michaels said this was an
indication of the global popularity in e-commerce activity and believed this
to be an exciting time to be involved in Internet related technologies.
"We have had tremendous success following our initial agreement. There
has been an overwhelming number of hits and we decided to extend the agreement
with Lycos," he said.
According to Mr. Michaels, the advertising banner promotion will enable
New Discoveries to reach global Internet users and attract the potential
online gaming market, estimated to be worth $29.2 billion by 2000.
New Discoveries shares reached a record high of $11, up $3.13, following
Monday's announcement of the agreement between New Discoveries and the
Internet search engines. New Discoveries volume was impressive enough that
the INDIVIDUAL INVESTOR "Market Wrapup" (an online investment newsletter)
showcased NWDP as one of its top stocks.
