Empathy Typo...

I'm a huge fan of Wave, and most of the people I'd care to have dinner with work there. Sure, it's annoying that this went in wrong, but I will categorically demand a retraction from the goober who lambasted George for it.

There's this little thing in responsible journalism called "FACT CHECKING". Any responsible interviewer will either personally or through proxy make sure that all names, titles, dates, and empirical facts are verified. You can't even get a short anger letter published in the Times without *extensive* intrusion (an incredible process outlined in a recent post at metamarkets.com.

George mentioned Wave and a product. It was incumbent on the reporter to make sure the legal name of the company was used and the trademarked names of any products mentioned were accurate.
