DOJ has not yet approved the LU/ASND merger,have they? Anyone know of approximate time table for merger once approval goes thru..assuming it will.. :)

Come on! Hiding their head in the sand? That's why Lucent bought Ascend with their SS7 software. Don't think that Lucent isn't involved with VoIP.

I know you aren't that naive! Between Chambers' comments about the Ascend-Lucent merger and O'Shea's comments about the legacy telephone systems we are watching two heavyweights walking around the ring sizing each other for the main event.
