I also think that a lot of people have graduated from invest-in-AMZN-to-make-money to invest-in-anything.com-and-make-money. Most of the time it does not matter where you invest, as long as the returns are good.

Its true for me at least. I would only invest in MSFT/YHOO/AOL - now I'll take anything that promises a profit. It feels guilty to be a sheep, but who cares...

Maybe, but sentiment changes so quickly. What was the sentiment like when amzn was dropping from 200 to 85 ? I forget. It seems so long ago.
