Dan,

I find the Win98/IE5.0 combination quite attractive, for all the same reasons that the Justice Department hates it. I like being able to browse local files and Internet sites in an identical fashion.

I spend a lot of time working from home, and I move seamlessly between network directories, web sites, and local directories. Windows Explorer does not allow you to cut and paste path names to files, but IE does.

My original disenchantment with Netscape was the result of the poor bookmark management scheme. I don't know if they have fixed it, but IE provided exactly what I was looking for and I never looked back.
