mp: I understand your disappointment, particularly if you were investing late last year. However, it is time to take a cold look
at this stock again. Fundamentally it has excellent consumer products
and is still No. 2 to CISCO in network products. It trades at 74%
discount to CISCO. Technically it is trading at its 12 month low
with excellent support at 22 1/2, level which was succesfully tested seven times during the last 12 months. Once the fears on the sector fade away in the next few weeks after other earnings announcements, COMS looks like a prime candidate for a strong rebound.
Of course I can be wrong...

Mp, with words like that you must be an MM.
All of these downgrades means that the brokerage
houses are trying to buy more inventory at these low
rates. 3Com isn't going to go away. More likely to
be bought up, but who is left to buy them?
Count out Nortel, Siemens and lucent. The smart long
money would be buying now and ignoring the doom and gloomers.
