Hey that is AOK with me, but all I know is I use Primate or Quote Monkey System and I do make a profit with it and not using any thing except charts. I have to agree with you in principle, but there are all kinds of charts, you got to know which ones to use and how to interrupt them. ---francis terry

Your points are largely valid, but it is very common for people to lump all forms of TA into one big pile ... and then to either praise or badmouth the whole pile, as the case may be.

In actuality, attempts to evaluate accumulation and distribution are quite different from some of the fancier-sounding technical analyses...

...And are equally applicable to low volume or low priced stocks.

(Perhaps we should create a new mantra: accumulation is not TA)

If people are buying, they are buying. And if they are selling, they are selling. Regardless of the price.

I, for one, would not dream of trying to trade TSIS based on moving averages or stochastics or you-name-it.
