Mope, what I am saying if you have a symbol change and want to sell...you know you are not short, it will clear in 3 days....you can sell even though it doesn't think that you have the symbol....BTW I found out about this the hard way...long story, but was short a couple of K of AWLD as a result...lost 1.5 /share....had an argument about it with Etrade...they didn't give a hoot that I was short without declaring....made me buy and cover....still burning about that one....although, now I know how to get around the system...
