Actually Jeff, I am not as familiar with AZNT as I should be to even post here. I know WOOD. Madera's primary business IS lumber. They are profitable and do file with the SEC. They own land in the rain forest that is larger than the state of Rhode Island. Consevative book value IS listed at $.50. I think it is closer to $1.25 if you look at what they realisticaly could get for their land.

I guess that harvesting the natural products that are available on this land is a better use of resources and very profitable, so they are naturally moving into this business. I was almost knocked off my feet when they announced that they had bought production facilities this week. They have the land, the facilities, and the know how in Brazil to make a very good go. They are agressive, and when they sell the land that is for sale, they will be cash flush.

The links that I provided in my posts should explain. I really have to leave the comparisons to you.

Does AZNT file with the SEC? Have they been profitable the last two years? Do they own property in the Amazon that is larger than Rhode Island? Is their book value reported conservatively as $.50?

Dave
