BGR:I have no idea why these analysts are preaching doom and gloom when they very well know Q1 is historically a slower period compared to the normally strong Q4.It happens every year,but listening to these guys it is as if this is a unique phenomenon that has never happened before in the history of man kind,funny people buy it.

Of course some are slower than others and that is another story for another day.

Indeed, you are right. But the corporate sector will likely be busy plugging Y2K holes this year. You'll note that the anecdotal evidence to date (e.g., from the Bloomberg piece) suggests that corporate buyers are sated of boxes, short on budget, and distracted by Y2K.
