IF_AMD

Modern software practice tends to shy away from the use of underscores. You might want to consider using "ifAMD" or "IfAmd" instead of the outdated "IF_AMD: style.

Of course, hardware people tend to stick with the use of underscores. The problem with this is that the Win98/Win2000 interface underlines links, which makes underscores indistinguishable from spaces.

The Register commented on your use of capital letters as well. You might want to consider changing your style to something like this:

I have profitedEnormously from ifAmd.
instead of:
I have PROFITED ENORMOUSLY from IF_AMD.
