Greg, I think journalists and analysts have the same ethics code.

Their ethics should not be questioned as they are serving the greater good.

Greg why didn't you tell the Business Week bastard that since when is the analysts pronouncements verified and audited and almost always is newsworthy (unless it has been audited by the accounting firm of 'Do-We-Cheat'em and How'?)and the companies statements are mere bull shit. The guy has some balls for sure,oh well another imbecile as far as I am concerned.

Isn't Sam Jaffe the journalist who used to write the Streetwalker column for Forbes?

If so, he has an excellent reputation, but significant contacts on the short side of the street. To say that he's somewhat skeptical of bullish company announcements shouldn't be taken as disparaging of Dell in particular.

His comment about the derivatives usage is another matter of course.<G> On that matter, he has some company, particularly the sale of put warrants.

DELL can bet mucho $ on its own stock?? And then say whatever they want? I can't believe the SEC would let them get away with such a thing - is this true???
