*********UPDATE************ Just got back from the horsepistol. Jan is in good spirits and seems to be doing well, considering... I arrived just in time for lunch. She ate a double meal while I noshed on the Cheetos that I brought last night. She can only lie (lay?) on her side, so watching her eat was mildly amusing. She is wearing a brace/medical contraption that is reminiscent of a corset in a kinky medical sorta way. The TV does not have CNBC (GASP!!!). She would like to say thank you for the flowers to: Viking Warrior - Very nice Peggy - Nice tulips, were you trying to be funny? :-) Tom Dorsey - Geez that was a big basket Preston and Donna - Beautiful Orchids Basically, y'all made me look like a cheap bastard with the arrangement that I got at the hospital last night. Duke, thanks for the book. Doctor stopped by earlier today and was apparently positively giddy with the results. As I said last night, she will be immobile at least through tomorrow and will likely be in the hospital until Saturday. And yes, you can call her there. Tom
