Just in case anyone cares. Ameritrade is a U.S broker that trades Canadian stocks. For U.S stocks they cost $8 for market orders and $13 for limit orders for as many shares as you want. Sounds great doesn't it. The only problem is for Canadian stocks

Canadian Stock Fees 2¢/share ($30 minimum/$150 maximum)
+ $18 for Market Order ($48 minimum/$168 maximum)
+ $23 for Limit/Stop Order ($53 minimum/$173 maximum)

These guys make Canadian brokers look cheap.

Best Regards
