I have found the yahoo thread to be a very good source of information, and comparing that info to what I have read in the news regarding the steel industry (researching competitors) and what these other companies are doing profit wise, I doubt Imports actually are to blame for BIR's woes. To me it appears management decisions have driven this stock into the ground. (Just my observation!) Some interesting off topic reading on a recent internet IPO... <http://www.msnbc.com/news/252604.asp#BODY> The last few paragraphs are worth some attention (the whole article is illuminating). It is off topic, but some day people will wake up and start putting their money back in real companies that make money and have high barriers that limit someone else from becoming a competitor over night.
