So, maybe your smarter than the IBM or EMC execs.? Who knows?

Do not misinterpret what I am trying to say. I would never claim to be smarter than any executive (except Chuck Haggerty!).

I would argue that if either of us sat in a room with the two companies and were walked through their rationales, we would surely come out convinced that this was the right strategic direction.

That does not mean that it makes intuitive sense at its most basic level -- at least to me.

As far as the P&W,RR, ILFC stuff ... I was only adding that stuff for completeness ... I was not correcting you ... I understood your logic.

On a more relevant point: SEG has not been/was not the sole supplier to EMC, were they?
