My question exactly. Why are they not needed in a company growing as fast as AOL. Trained employees are often considered valuable assets. Anyway, I'm not wedded to the idea that an 8% job cut represents management's view that growth may slow, I'm just mulling things over out loud, as it were. Probably nothing to it.
