Dear Al (the bear-haha): I am quite sure that you know a lot more about TA than I do. I also would be the first to agree that Russell 2000 companies currently SUCK, as sadly I own a few. But when a Smith Barney (I believe thats the firm that made the comment) says its time to start looking at small and mid cap firms I consider that an important statement. He gave plenty of fundamental reasons for doing so. If other firms come to believe as he seems to then I am pretty sure they will find a lot of value there. Not just in TAVA but in plenty of others. The problem of Liquidity will remain and I am not sure how that is solved if it is solvable. But there has to be a place for these Companies as all the Fortune 1,000 originally started as small caps for the most part. I suspect that as the public begins to lose faith in paying excessive multiples for companies whose growth has slowed down your chart may be turned upside down. Hey, what would that look like? JDN
