I read somewhere to follow Cannacord. They seemed to be selling earlier in the day and now are buying. Why would they change like that? It is is a rumor why would they now be buying?

Now that we've got the rumors out of the way for the time being maybe we can turn to the serious things in life. The question immortalized by Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady was "Why can't Women be more like Men?" According to a German manufacturer maybe now they can....

The latest in toilet concepts
Presenting the Lady P

David Steinhart
Financial Post

Katja Lenz, Agence France-Presse / Deutsche Sphinx hopes its Lady P urinal will revolutionize women's toilets.

It's taken German manufacturer Deutsche Sphinx Sanitaer GmbH more than 100 years to do it, but the company says it is now on the verge of marketing the world's first female urinal.

Dubbing it the Lady P, Deutsche Sphinx hopes the product will start a toilet revolution, perhaps help women feel more comfortable using public facilities.

"Over 80% of women don't touch normal toilets for sanitary reasons, but this product means you don't have to worry about making contact with anything," Meream Varhappan of Deutsche Sphinx said yesterday from Frankfurt, where the century-old company is showcasing its product. "There is a tremendous amount of demand for it all over Europe and we're looking at getting into the Far East."

Deutsche Sphinx, located in Vlotho, about 100 kilometres from Hanover, is one of Germany's leading producers of ceramic bathroom products, including showers, taps, and total wash closet concepts. Ms. Varhappan said the company is currently producing three other as-yet-unnamed toilet concepts. However, the Lady P is its gem.

"Women who have seen it have told us they want this because its looks very hygienic," she said. "It has a great flushing system and it comes with a sanitary cover if they wish to sit."

So far, Canada and the United States are not being discussed as possible destinations for the Lady P, Ms. Varhappan said.

"The product is only being introduced right now. It is not installed anywhere yet, but it will be," she said.

The Lady P looks nothing like the standard, everyday men's urinal. The female version is designed with a feminine touch in mind. More rounded, with a high back so users can sit down if that's what they want.

Ms. Varhappan said airports, restaurants and theatres will be the Lady P primary resting places. But, she adds, the company hopes to put it anywhere toilets are necessary, which means almost every building in the world.
