Did anyone else notice the diveragnce between SLB+HAL vs the rest of oil drillers today?

Both SLB and HAL were down about 2% while the small cap drillers were up on average of 2%.

I'd say this is healthy.

Purely from a value standpoint HAL and SLB seem pretty richly valued. I'd rather not have RIG, DO, MRL, VTS and others tied to SLB's every move.

Any explanations?

I'd say individual investors were buying today while the instititions were selling in moderation.

I never started posting here untill the jbe's, the bw's, the theanot yo-yo's, the Looney Tunes's et al - had all ready left. Don't trot out that lame - ''I drove them off'' Bullhookey - aint true and your nose grows another 3 inches - (now your largest appendage <VBG>) for pravaricating once again...shame, shame. They were long gone, before I ever arrived....

What in heaven's name are you talking about, Slider? The "jbe's" -- who are they supposed to be? This jbe never posed as a oil patch guru, that is for sure, and I am sure the others didn't either...Furthermore, I was here before you started posting...

Stick to discussing oil stocks. When it comes to people, you apparently haven't a clue.
