Looking at Time and Sales, looks to me like someone who owns a lot of shares wanted to give the impression that this one was finishing strong. With the exceptions of 2 3000 share blocks, all or most of the trades were 100, 200 or 500 share lots. Very small volume on the move from 6.438 to 7.00...

I was thinking perhaps there might be a press release out after the bell, and it might have been some 'anticipation' buying. There was nothing on Yahoo!, so I decided to look at their website. Having never ventured there before, I tried www.coyote.com. Nope. Then I tried www.coyotenetworks.com. Nope. Then I thought, this company's primary business is selling stock, right? So I tried cyoe.com and what do you know...why wouldn't they use their stock ticker symbol for their URL? Ah well, patience. It may be a winding road, but the destination is clear.

CYOE - I used to be long on this stock. I thought it was oversold after the Street.com debacle and that it would begin to rise after the smoke cleared. Well that did not happen.

The saying goes "never fall in love with a stock". Would this not then also apply to a short?? I no longer have a vested interest in CYOE ( nor am I implying that they are or are not legitimate) but it seems to me that many of you seem have fallen in love with this short, perhaps even obsessed with its demise. Is this wise when investing? In light of its recent resilience, is it best to move on to the next position?

Just thinking "out loud", sharing an observation - but flame away if you must.
