>>Your welcome. Netscape doesn't have the same full screen capability that IE does, but you can hide most of it; click the extreme right of the toolbar (looks like a bunch of rivets) and you can hide everything except the menu bar.<<

Some people use both browsers and say that Netscape offers a lot, but I guess I'm just too lazy to learn two systems.

>>Have you checked out the Favorites folder-they added some new functionality there also, stumbled across it this morning when I went to organize some favorites and found the interface had been changed. It's a lot cleaner, but still seems to lack a little--it would be nice if it would alphabetize the list, that seems to be my biggest annoyance with the Favorites folder.<<

My Favorites ARE alphabetical -- whether I access them in the drop-down menu, the "Organize Favorites" option, in the Windows/Favoites folder, or in the split-screen version (which I'm starting to appreciate now). Wonder why they aren't alphabetical for you -- that would annoy me too. Strange.

Yes, this browser is coming in to its' own now.

>>I really like the elongated status bar, it lets you see a lot more of the address when you point your mouse on a link, still not all it, but then again some of those address are long.<<

Never use the status bar -- I like the full screen for some reason... Glad it makes you happy though <g>

I also like the new design art they put on the launch screen for Outlook Express. Differentiates it from ie. Used to have a split-second of confusion when launching OE.

PL,

Since I've been using ie5 I discovered that you're right about it not alphabetizing Favorites (ie4 did, though -- although at some point it would screw up and start adding new Favorites and folders at the bottom of the list).

However, I also discovered that the Favorites are drag-able, so you can easily organize them any way you want! Also, if you didn't notice, the quick launch and start menu items are also drag-able.

Best regards,
wily
