Market makers can move the stock as they wish, if conditions are right. Remember, there are many bids, many asks at any one time: each with a volume of shares attached. I would not take NSOL trading today as in any way attributable to MMs for price direction: could be, probably not..But if you think MMs cannot manipulate price, you have not read enough statements/articles about this process...from MMs themselves!
